This incredible pewter platter, made by the celebrated German Kayserzinn factory in the late 19th century, features many incredible details typical of the Art Nouveau period including; the whiplash lines of the water, and sinuous features of the fish and sea-life adorning the outer rim. This is a stunning piece, in amazing original condition - the detail is crisp and has to be seen to be appreciated, I particularly love the seahorses. Clearly stamped to the back, this platter makes a wonderful display item, as well as being a true collector's piece. Measures 62cm across and 26.5cm high.
